Feature: LA Local Bands

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be adding plenty of new tracks into rotation. A portion of those will be some local bands based here in Los Angeles and Orange County, the broadcast town of the station. The great thing about many of the bands being added is that they are performing locally either recently or relatively soon. Venue locations and band shout outs will be part of on air breaks and blog posts. Oh, and one more thing, you’ll be listening and discovering brand new music all here on Unconventional Radio.

The entirety of Unconventional Radio is run through my compact home studio. The station runs off of Station Playlist and music is constantly added weekly. What about that mic? Whenever I or any of the registered DJ’s decides to talk and announce on air, we can. So when the mic, turns on, you know you’re one of the lucky ones to hear a personality talking to the world.
Coachella Takeover Weekends

We have a little over a month until Coachella. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we’ll play tracks from artists who will be performing on those days during the festival.
